Chapter 1: A different reality

At 2.30 a.m. it was a cold night... minus 4 Celsius he remembered from the weather forecast. His breath caused a small condense film on his eyes. Without blinking he looked trough the haze in to the night, towards the fence at the backside of the garden were he was. He didn't notice it and it didn't bother him. Even more so, if he would notice he couldn't tell if the haze was caused by the condense or his tears, that were welling in his eyes.
Tears of confusion, emotions. They were welling over the edge of his eyelids. No-one could suspect these emotions were kind of, out of place. Giving the circumstances.
